The organisation and preporation of each tour


The preparation and organisation is very extensive and involves lots of work. The drivers have to check that everything on the bus is working properly and in good condition. They also are in charge of keeping the bus clean and in order, and also the picking up and dropping off of the people. The drivers also are in charge of relocating the buses from place to place in between tours. The relocation can last for as little as 3 days, or as long as 2 weeks. The drivers,when relocating, can travel a maximum of 1000kilometers a day - they are not allowed to do any more than that.


The tour directors are in charge of the paperwork that comes with each tour. They have to make name badges, call each place the tour is staying at to make sure everything is sorted, organise seating arrangements for each day, make sure they know all the first aid requirements, have all of the qualifications, and know the information of each place the tour goes through and stays at. They also have to order all the food and equipment needed for each tour, as most of the places the tour goes to don't actually provide anything.
